If you’re like me, you have eaten a bit too much food during the holidays and you want to get rid of the excess weight that you have gained and you want to get rid of it fast and easy.
Now before I dive deeper into what the keto diet is and so on, I need to make a full disclaimer here.

First, I will explain what the ketosis diet is, then I will discuss the benefits and the disadvantages with the ketosis diet.
In the third and final phase, I will share how you can become more attractive by using this diet to lose weight.
What Is The Keto Diet?
The ketogenic or keto diet is a diet that changes your body’s metabolism to go from burning glucose to ketones.
Glucose is a form of sugar that gives your body a quick energy boost, normally referred to as blood sugar.
Ketones are an alternative form of fuel for your body.
As with any diet and when you switch from one kind of fuel to another kind of fuel to drive your body with, there will be a time of adjustment required before you see any results, so you can’t expect amazing results overnight.
Ketones will make you burn your own body fat and this will be the new fuel of your body.
This will cause your body to be in a ketonic state.
It is a perfectly harmless condition for most people.
The Keto diet reminds, in essence, a lot of the formerly popular diets Atkins and Low Carbon High Fat (LCHF).
But before you make any drastic change to your diet, I strongly advise you to consult your doctor and discuss whether you should do this or not.
What Are The Benefits of the Keto Diet?
The Ketosis diet will help you lose weight and since I know this is one of the most common New Year’s resolutions for most people, this is probably the best benefit you will gain if you switch to the keto diet.
You can drink as much Tap water (even with lemon and ice), coffee, and tea as you like but beware of alcohol and cafe latte.
It will also give you a better appetite control so you won’t feel as hungry as you might do with other diets.
Some people might experience a better level of energy and mental performance as well as increased physical performance.
Are There Any Disadvantages with the Keto Diet?
As always when you make a sudden diet change, you might experience some stomach issues as well as headache.
When you experience a headache, it is your body telling you that you are weaning your body of sugar and carbohydrates and it is a common disadvantage that many people are experiencing and a natural reaction.
Without discussing your stomach in detail, you may experience diarrhoea or constipation. This is also very common and perfectly natural as well.

Other disadvantages that you may experience are:

- Irritatable
- Muscle fatigue
- Cramping
- Difficult focusing on tasks

I have to inform you that the problems that are listed on the top are more common to experience while the ones listed at the bottom of this list are only happening to a few people, so they are pretty rare.
Can The Keto Diet Make Me More Attractive?
Yes, at least, in your own view, if you want to lose some weight.
Don’t experience to lose a lot of weight overnight, these things take time. I mean, it did take you some time to gain weight as well, right?
So, then it’s only natural that it will take some time to lose weight as well, right?
A good measurement is that it takes 2-3 times to lose weight in comparison to how you gained the same amount of weight so please be patient and don’t expect amazing results overnight.
For this reason, it always feels like you gain weight a lot easier than it will take you to lose weight.
I just wanted to set the record straight here so you know what to expect.
The Most Common Reason Why People Do Not Lose Weight
Do you know the most common reason why people fail in their weight loss journey?
It is because they give up and give in to their cravings.
I know that this is the most common reason why people do not lose weight.
It has happened to me a couple of times too.
Another common reason why people don’t succeed when they are trying to lose weight is that they simply don’t drink enough water.
Try to drink as much tap water as possible. If you don’t like the taste of it, you can add some freshly squeezed lemon juice or put a slice of lemon or lime in it.
Remember that if you exercise you are losing water and salt when your sweating, so replace the water while you are working out like Sophia below.
