Why was the second one better than the first?
Because it is not just a summarization of the information that you will get from a database. The text version is better than a summarization. Try to always do this when you have the opportunity to do so.
By writing the third line you might trigger the person’s interest in you by telling them to continue to read your profile. This is a great way to stop them from discarding you after reading one or two lines. Most people tend to read the first 3-5 lines in a profile before moving to the next. By writing as the example above, people will continue to read your profile a bit longer unaware of this simple yet effective trick.
Your profile is the most important thing, think of it as a short presentation of yourself.
Telling the World about your interests

I like to dance, to travel to other countries in Europe and doing some rock-climbing.
Do it like this:
I like to dance because I love to feel the rhythm in my body when I hear the music. To travel is another passion of mine.
I have already been to France, Belgium, Italy, and Spain. I hope to return to Italy soon on my honeymoon with you and we can also to travel to Germany, Poland, Hungary, and Croatia in a few years time since I would love to see those countries as well.
Rock-climbing is fun, I think since it combines physical strength in your legs and arms with the psychological strength of the mind.
The most important one: How did u find Christ?
Don’t do it like this:
I found Christ when I was 14 years old at my church’s summer camp.
Do it like this:
When I found Christ I was 14 years old. It was at my church’s summer camp in 2005. We were a couple of girl groups from different parishes that came together for three weeks when we camped, learned about God, praying, how to survive in the wilderness and so on.
As you have been noticing already, it is also important to have blank lines when you write a long text. This improves the readability of your profile and is also a factor for people to read your entire profile. It is applicable to all long texts that you write, whether they are private or work-related.
