Introduction

In this blog post, we will take a moment and think back to the year that has passed. A year ago we didn’t have a website, a blog or were on any social medias.

We Started In November

It was pretty cold outside when we started to blog with the announcement “Christian Dating International Is Now Blogging! Over the year that has passed since then we have told you about great products, our great services and even have launched a plan to become even more visible.

We will tell you what’s in store for the autumn at the end of this blog post.

We Changed The Way We Write Our Name

In the first blog posts, we called ourselves XP Dating, just as the website’s name is.

Then we decided at a staff meeting to change it to how it really should be pronounced: Chi Rho Dating.

In retrospect, we are glad that we did since it came to our attention that XP sometimes is an abbreviation for experienced which is not what we want to be about at all. It doesn’t mean that you can’t be experienced to join us, you just need to confess Christ as your Lord and Saviour.

The name change had one more consequence; we had to change our domain name to something better and so we did a week ago. Our new domain is Chi Rho Dating.com (without spaces).

Traffic Jam Started To Bring Members In

Our First Traffic Jam started to bring a few members in, the second one brought most of our current members in and as we write this blog post our Traffic Jam 3.0 is currently running and will bring new members in for sure.

Spring and The Visibility Policy

The Visibility Policy came and declared  that we needed to become more visible on social medias. Since March we are on Google+ and in May we opened up our Twitter account. We also decided that Traffic Jam 3.0 would start and not be discontinued until March 2015.

Dating 101 Will Become A Newsletter

We decided to make our “Dating 101”-topic a free and independent newsletter just a couple of weeks ago. This means that we will continue to spread the word that we exist. The newsletter will become available in a matter of weeks.

What Will We Become In A Year From Now?

One thing is for sure, we won’t just be a website. We don’t know what we will become in the next year more than this:

In June we will start our Hub page and in the autumn we will start our Facebook account.

We will also publish more articles and newspaper ads in newspapers around the world, especially Christian newspapers of course.

This headline has been around since January and has been a huge success.

In the autumn we will continue to do this as well.

This post’s featured product is this:

Next blog post

Our next blog post will be about our new hub page and the posts of June and August.

It will be published on Wednesday the 11th of June 2014.

Until then,

The Chi Rho Dating Team
