Relaunch of the Affiliate Program? What This Means Today

We are a professional review company that receives compensation from companies whose products we review. We test each product thoroughly and give high marks only to the ones that are the very best. We are independently owned, and the opinions expressed here are our own.

When this post was first published, ChiRhoDating was still experimenting with different ways to support the blog, including affiliate programs.

A lot has changed since then.

The dating world has changed.
Online dating has changed.
The way people look for relationship advice has changed.
And yes, the way this blog recommends dating resources has changed, too.

Today, this article is no longer just about whether we might “relaunch” an old affiliate program. Instead, it is a good place to explain how affiliate programs fit into the bigger picture of ChiRhoDating, why we sometimes review dating products, and how readers can use those reviews without blindly trusting every promise they see online.

What Is an Affiliate Program?

An affiliate program is a simple arrangement in which a website may earn a commission if a reader clicks a recommendation and later buys something.

That does not mean the reader pays more.

It usually means the company behind the product pays the website a small commission for referring a customer.

On a dating advice blog, this might include products related to:

  • online dating,
  • texting,
  • confidence,
  • relationships,
  • communication,
  • getting an ex back,
  • marriage,
  • or personal development.

However, that does not mean every dating product is worth recommending.

Some products are useful.
Some are outdated.
Some overpromise.
Some are better for men.
Some are better for women.
Some are only useful in very specific situations.

That is why reviews matter.

Why Dating Product Reviews Can Be Helpful

Dating advice can be confusing.

One person tells you to text more.
Another tells you to text less.
One coach tells men to be more direct.
Another tells women to stop chasing.
Some products promise quick results, while others focus more on emotional understanding, confidence, or long-term relationship habits.

A good review should not simply say:

“This product is amazing. Buy it now.”

That is not helpful.

A better review should explain:

  • who the product is for,
  • who should skip it,
  • what problem it tries to solve,
  • what the strengths are,
  • what the weaknesses are,
  • whether the promise sounds realistic,
  • and whether there may be better alternatives.

That is the approach we try to take today.

Best Dating Programs for Men

Some dating products are mainly written for men.

These often focus on things like confidence, texting, attraction, approaching women, dating apps, first dates, or getting an ex-girlfriend back.

If you are a man looking for dating advice, the most important question is not simply:

“Which product is the best?”

A better question is:

“Which product fits the problem I actually have?”

For example, a man who struggles with texting may need something very different from a man who struggles with confidence, social skills, or rebuilding attraction with an ex.

That is why I have put together a guide to the best dating programs for men.

Best Dating Programs for Women

Other dating and relationship programs are mainly written for women.

These often focus on emotional connection, commitment, communication, why men pull away, how to rebuild closeness, or how to understand male behavior in relationships.

Again, the goal is not to chase every product that makes a big promise.

The goal is to understand what kind of help you actually need.

A woman trying to reconnect emotionally with her partner may need a different resource from a woman who is dating again, trying to understand mixed signals, or wondering whether a man is truly serious.

That is why I have also written a guide to the best dating programs for women.

Running a blog takes time.

Articles need to be written, updated, researched, edited, organized, and maintained. Older posts also need to be reviewed, improved, and connected to newer resources so readers can find better information.

Affiliate links help support that work.

But they should not replace honesty.

If a product is not a good fit for everyone, that should be said.
If a product has limitations, that should be said.
If a product is better for a specific type of reader, that should be said too.

That is why many of our newer reviews try to be more balanced than older internet-style product recommendations.

A dating product should never be treated like magic.

At best, it is a tool.

And like any tool, it depends on the person using it, the situation they are in, and whether the advice actually fits their problem.

How to Use Dating Reviews Wisely

Before buying any dating program, ask yourself a few questions:

  • What problem am I trying to solve?
  • Is this product made for someone in my situation?
  • Does the advice sound realistic?
  • Does the review mention both pros and cons?
  • Am I expecting a guaranteed result, or am I looking for guidance?
  • Would I still be interested if there were no dramatic promises?

That last question matters.

Dating and relationships involve real people. No course, ebook, video, or texting system can guarantee attraction, love, commitment, or reconciliation.

But the right resource can sometimes help you understand what you have been doing wrong and give you a better way forward.

Final Thoughts

When this post was first written, it was mainly about the possibility of relaunching an affiliate program.

Today, it has a different purpose.

It explains why affiliate programs exist on a dating blog, how product reviews can help readers, and why choosing the right dating resource should depend on your actual situation.

It is also one of the ways online dating sites, and this blog, make money.

The goal is not to buy every product.

The goal is to find the right kind of help for the problem you are actually facing.
