Summertime Dating: Some Advice
How does a picnic in a local park sound to you for a first date? How about a lovely café or just taking a walk somewhere of outstanding natural beauty, enjoying the company of each other as well as the magnificent creation of God?
All the things I’ve listed above are possible during the summer.
As a matter of fact, I have written an entire piece listing my 10 best first date ideas for summer. You should definitely check it out after reading this article.
I am sure you can think of many other things to do on a date as well. Above, I’ve just listed a few examples.
Embracing Possibilities
I don’t know about you, but when summer is here, I always feel there are endless possibilities, and I want to embrace as many as possible.
For instance, lighting up the barbecue and having a BBQ date is an easy, intimate yet informal way to get more spontaneous dates, and on rainy days, I use these seven date-night recipes as a backup plan. Because, unfortunately, you’ll never know if it’s gonna be sunny or rainy.
This is also what I would recommend all singles do at all times: embrace possibilities and take action, because after all, it’s only you who can decide what is good for you and what is not, on a purely personal level, that is.
A final advice in this conclusion is: Don’t give up! I am sure that God has a plan for your life as well as He has for mine.
I will continue to give you the best Christian dating advice I know, based on my own experiences in the “single-jungle” online and offline, for one more year.
Thanks for reading this blog,
Rickard
