Do You Need to Think About Success to Become Successful?
I do not think that a person’s mind will influence how successful they will be, but what you say to yourself will determine how successful you will become.
What I think matters to your success is hard work and determination to succeed.
First dates are nerve-wracking, and the pure concept of thinking about something and it will happen seems preposterous to me.
My personal thought is that “practice makes perfect” and that you need to repeat and rinse to become successful.
No matter what you want to achieve in your life, you need to take action.
I will elaborate on these ideas below, but first, I will discuss where I got this concept from…
Law of Attraction: Specific Person
The concept of the law of attraction is, to some extent, based upon the Bible, which I discussed in a previous article.
That I am a firm believer in. However, when it comes to the concept of “think a positive thought and positive things will happen to you” or the opposite, I am a healthy skeptic.
It would be wonderful if it were as simple as this concept: Focus on the positive and good things that will happen to you.
It’s just that it sounds too simplistic to me, and when something sounds too good to be true, my experience tells me that it is.
The advocates of this concept argue that you can apply it to all areas of life:
- Financially – Think rich and you will become rich
- Romantically – Think of someone you are interested in and he or she will become your boyfriend or girlfriend
- Healthwise – Think that you are healthy and you will be healthy, you can even cure diseases this way
I could continue this list with even more examples, but I will not. I am not against positive thinking per se, I do think it can help you relax a bit and make you more likely to have a good experience, but I do not think it will automatically, as a universal law, help you achieve all your dreams just by thinking about them.
I am a firm believer in taking action to make things happen. Because, let’s face it: Postponing will not make anything happen to you, neither good nor bad. The same thing is true with dreams. I have set up a new goal for this year and then for the next year, too: I will start saying yes more than saying no and allow opportunities to pass by me.
There is something I can promise you today: I will keep blogging and deliver as much high-quality content on this blog as humanly possible.
Law of Attraction: Dating
In this short article, I have discussed some aspects of dating and the law of attraction.
There is one thing I haven’t discussed so far, and that is how I think that you should approach first dates.
Improve yourself. There’s nothing wrong with making yourself more attractive and bettering yourself.
Even if your first date went terribly wrong: Learn from it and take it as a lesson of human interactivity. Eventually, you will get it! Take action and get rewarded.
Make promises and set up goals. Make promises to yourself and set up goals. If you can’t make it that day, do it tomorrow but really do it. If you fail to achieve your goals, you will keep letting yourself down constantly. I always set up goals for each week, and I try to decide which day I will do a certain thing. If I fail to do it, I make it a priority to do it the day after. By doing this, I might be “behind schedule.”
I always set up goals for each week, and I try to decide which day I will do a certain thing. If I fail to do it, I make it a priority to do it the day after. By doing this, I might be “behind schedule” sometimes, but then I might have done something else in advance, which allows me to dedicate the time to do the other things on a different day than I originally planned to.
I hope you now understand that I do think that hard work pays off eventually. Sometimes it’s better to do things and not postpone things and never do them at all.
