Texting has become one of the most important parts of modern dating.
Knowing what to text a girl you like can make the difference between starting an exciting conversation and getting stuck in the friend zone.
The best text to send her is not: “Hi!” Unless you don’t want to become her text buddy or get stuck in the friend zone.
I would rather text a girl something like, “SURPRISE!” or “Hey princess, I just came back from the aquarium, and I saw the cutest fish there…it reminded me of you :P,” especially if I want to be in a relationship with her.
Let’s face it: Small text messages are great when texting a woman. Keep it short and interesting rather than long and boring.

Don’t get me wrong here. Long texts can work too. I don’t want to sound like a pickup artist. I really don’t, but actually, shorter texts often work better when texting a girl. You can always be more talkative during a video call or in person.
The whole idea of texting IS to get her out on a date, and to do that successfully, you must stir her emotions.
Short texts build some mystery around you, and as we all know, women love the idea of the dark, mysterious stranger who is sweeping her off her feet.
That is why some texts work better than others.

How to Flirt with a Girl Over Text
Use HIT on her. If you don’t know what I mean, you should read the article “How to Text a Girl.“
You can text her things like You are so sweet… You gave me diabetes. Although this is a serious illness, many women think it’s “cute,” not because you joke about a disease, but because you actually say that she is sweet.
Be yourself, no matter what kind of relationship you want. This is advice that always works with girls/women.
They have this kind of “radar” and can intuit when you lie. So avoiding lies is a smart move, gents!
Texting is perfect for flirting, so using the HIT-formula together with some emoticons like 😉 or 🙂 They are always advisable. If you want some ideas, check out these emoticons to spice up your conversations.
Don’t forget to be original, like I don’t understand how you can date someone like me. After all, I am a four-eyed person, a sight for sore eyes even though I might not have four eyes.
You see, you tell her that you don’t think you are her “type” and actually are disqualifying yourself from being someone she should consider to be in a romantic relationship with.
Sometimes, your uncertainty shines through in your texting, and that might be the reason she suddenly stops texting you.
This is actually a flirting technique that, if used properly, might lead to marriage, but should at least get you more dates.
What to Text a Girl You Like
Now, as promised, I will give you 7 texts to send to a girl you like (all samples are written in italic below):
- What’s up? Want to hang around with a guy who’s afraid of bugs?
- Let’s fly to Vegas, get married, and argue about our third kid’s name. Then we divorce and live miserably ever after.
- I just met a polar bear on the street. He was just chillin’ and looking for fish! Did you meet him, too?
- You are stalking me! Stop thinking of me! I don’t like you thinking such filthy thoughts about me! Get out of my head!
- Something about you just makes me smile 🙂
- I’ve just heard on the evening news that the police are looking for an ugly guy and a wonderful woman. They already got me, so you’d better run!
- I could travel the world to lay eyes on beautiful things. Then I realized that if I look at you, I see the most beautiful thing!
Here is a bonus: When God created you, He was at the top of His game, but when I was created, I think the Good Lord took a vacation!
After sending one of these texts or something similar, ask her out on a date. She’ll probably want that, at least if you have made her laugh, intrigue her, and tease her a bit as well.
