I still think we will see a continually diminishing trend in the use of them.

Mostly because people will be using their phones, and that we all need a little bit of love.

The first thing that will be impacted will be how we approach someone.

Gone will be the days when we walk up to a random girl, started to chat, before we finally had got enough courage to ask her out on a date.

The new normal with social distancing will prevent it.

In order to get to know her, instead of walking up to her, and start a conversation, you will meet her on social media.

Unfortunately, this will also lead to an increase of cyber-related crimes like love scams, and identity thefts, and other criminal activities that will go online.

If average Joe’s and Jane’s are going online, criminals will do it too, since it will be where the money can be made.

Dating from a Distance As the New Normal

When you finally go out on a date, things will be a bit different than before.

You have to keep your distance, so you will still be able to talk to each other, and date, but you will keep at least one arm length’s distance at all time between each other.

When you walk together, you will probably keep the same distance.

Holding hands might be where you draw the line, but you probably will avoid even this kind of physical contact.

Everything else like kissing and other kinds of exchanging body fluids between human beings will be entirely out of the question, for the first, and probably also second, and the third date as well.

Eventually, you will become more intimate, but it will take some time.

What will be the best dating tips for you in times like these?

Of course, it is to:

• Keep your distance to your date.
• Wash your hands frequently and for at least 30 seconds.
• Think through every move before you make them since you want to find love, not an illness.

Protecting yourself and staying safe should have been your top-priority in the past, but now it will become even more important to do a lot of preparations, so that you avoid attracting any illnesses.

These are the things that I think will change, as well as how dating from a distance will be done in 2020 and beyond.

I may be proven wrong, but time will tell whether I was right or wrong.

However, I do know that there has been different advice on dating in the current pandemic situation.

Some have advised their citizens to abstain from any kind of dating.

Others, like the Danish equivalent of CDC, have even publicly stated that “of course, singles should continue to have sex since we are sexual beings”.

So, I guess that it’s anybody’s guess.

It might even be that singles will be dating like they did before the current crisis affected their ability to date, since we are slow learners.

I hope it will have hightened your level of personal security, at least.

Just remember that dating from a distance is the most secure way to be dating right now.

You will succeed, just keep thinking positive things.
