Today, I will expose one of the most significant secrets of the multi-billion-dollar dating industry.

I have known how dating sites make money for a couple of years.

For this reason, I can’t guarantee that this website will be up and running for long because the big brands won’t allow this to happen to them.

I will expose the ugly truth about dating sites and how they make a livelihood of scamming honest people like yourself of your hard-earned money.

However, I will also tell you about legitimate dating websites, which are a few, even in this industry.

So who am I, and why am I doing it?

I am dating coach Rickard, and I don’t make any money from dating websites unless they work ethically.

My only reason for exposing this, without mentioning any names, is to help you make intelligent decisions, and this blog, which is my own, is not making money by promoting any of these fake and scammy dating sites.

I prefer to be independent so that I can share the truth.

If you think that honesty is essential, you might want to take a moment and sign up for my newsletter to the right.

Chances are that if you have heard about a dating site, they are using the method I will be exposed to in this article, and I am, by the way, not the first one who told this method.

David DeAngelo was the first.

For this reason, I will leave a link to a very inexpensive product of his, which I am, by the way, an affiliate of.

So, if you like this article, you might want to buy through my link to help me expose some more industry secrets of this dirty and, in many ways, unethical industry called dating.

Without further ado, let’s begin by asking the most critical question:

Love, Online Dating, Dating, Dating Online
Is It Possible to Find Love Online, or Are Dating Sites Fake? Dating Coach Rickard exposes the Honest Truth in This Article.

Can Dating Sites Be Trusted?

The real question you need to start asking yourself is whether dating sites can be trusted.

My answer is: Yes and No.

Yes, because they still work well if you talk to an actual human being on the other end.

No, because you might just be talking to a piece of automated software that is answering you based on a database filled with answers to thousands of different questions that actual humans have responded to.

There is also the risk of getting scammed on dating sites, but there are some red flags that I have discussed before on this blog.

However, you might be talking to a real human being but not a natural person.

Does this sound confusing to you?

Don’t worry; I will explain everything in a moment.

I told you I was revealing something I have known for a few years but couldn’t discuss before, right?

You see, before, I didn’t want to expose the marketing methods of others.

I wouldn’t think it was ethical, and I wouldn’t want to create a negative buzz around this market since I believed it would serve you if it went away.

Are dating sites full of criminals? This will be answered below…

However, I have never personally used the method that I will describe now because I don’t think it is an ethical way to do business.

When this blog first started, it was tied to a dating website.

But that website never used the method I was revealing and became a victim of the competitors’ fraudulent marketing methods.

You see, many dating websites are using a sneaky marketing method.

They have many guys employed who create 5-10 fake female profiles on the dating website, and they are reaching out to men to convince them to upgrade their membership to a paid subscription.

This is how most dating websites make money; the bigger they are, the higher the chances they are using this method.

By doing this, they make it seem like their dating website has many members and attractive men and women who are active users when they, in reality, aren’t any real active singles on the site.

I think this is fraudulent, and honestly, I think it should be illegal.

The website never earned a lot of money, which was why they eventually shut it down.

But this leads me to the next question…

Are Dating Sites Fake?

For apparent reasons, the answer to whether dating sites are fake can not be answered with a simple yes or no.

No, because there are real people who join dating websites every day.

Yes, because there are a lot of fake profiles and also a lot of scammers.

As you have noticed, I have already given you more information about this topic than you will find on most other dating blogs.

Is there any difference between free and paid dating websites?

Yes, the main difference is that free dating websites never use this method since they often get paid by showing ads, not unlike this blog which offers you advertisements that might interest you.

However, there are still problems with free dating websites.

But I won’t discuss them in this article since it has been discussed before on this blog.

All I will tell you is that there are problems with all dating sites.

The only problem with paid membership dating websites is the one I have addressed in this article.

However, I find it quite troublesome, and for a good reason.

Scammers are criminals trying to trick you into paying them money so they can afford their larger-than-life image in luxury resorts.

Dating sites are considered legit businesses with employees.

I am NOT telling you that dating websites are scams.

I am trying to tell you to trust your gut feeling whenever and whoever you chat with on dating sites or dating apps.

I have a rule of thumb that I would like to share with you:

If someone you meet online sounds too good to be true, that person is too good to be true.
