Introduction
In this blog post, I will discuss when I think it’s appropriate to ask someone out on a first date. If you ever wanted to learn how to ask a girl out on a date, you have come to the right place online. So, let’s jump right into the fun part…
How To Ask A Girl Out On A First Date
If you are chatting and everything feels right about the person, you might want to do it ASAP. I have to add that I don’t mean that you should ask someone out tomorrow, you might want to chat with a person at least three to five days before asking someone you’ve just met out on a first date.
I am assuming that you will chat with each other every day between the first chat and the first date, of course.
After all, it does take a lot of time to get to know someone, and you will not know too much of a person when you met them for the first time. Did you know everybody you are working with or are studying with when you’ve first met them? No, of course, you didn’t.
The person you will go out with on a first date might be a person that will have a significant impact on the rest of your life. So it would be best if you were a bit cautious before you’re asking him or her out on a first date. Yes, even women may ask men out in the modern online dating world.
In some ways, there has been a major shift in the Western world, but some women are still old fashioned and want the man to make the first move and ask them out.
So the best practice for a man on any online dating website is to ask the woman out on a first date. Just type in the chatbox something like “Hey, what do you do on Saturday? Maybe we could meet, I know this (where you want to go)”.
The places can vary a lot and use an adjective before the place you suggest like a “beautiful restaurant, cosy coffee shop, wonderful farmer’s market” or something similar.
Why you should use an adjective before the actual place for your date is because it makes the other person (in my example above a woman) more positive to that particular establishment and it will also tell the person that you know and have a positive experience of that place in the city.
Now, this is of course only going to happen if you’re dating locally which actually will increase your chances of finding a date for this year Valentine’s Day. If you haven’t read my advice for a first date before, I strongly suggest you do it before you’re going to that all-important first date of yours.
If you’re dating someone that lives in a different country or on another continent, things are a bit trickier. That is what I will discuss in the next paragraph.
Some First Date Advice For International Dating
If you’re dating internationally things are a bit different. Mostly because you can’t decide to meet each other on short notice such as between 3 to 5 days after the first chat, I don’t think it’s a negative thing. Time can actually tell where this relationship might go, but it will be a lot of planning before you can meet that person.
First of all, you need to fix all papers and other mandatory things, at least a passport and maybe a visa too, maybe getting a shot to get protection against different infections and so on. You have to check with the country’s embassy in your own country which papers you need and with your local hospital on which vaccinations you’ll need.
You have to do a complete checklist (that I can’t give to you since it different depending on which county you live in and which country yore going to) and then when everything practical is done you will finally be able to go to that country and see how things develop.
One thing you can do when you’re talking with the person you intend to visit and ask out on a first date is that you ask them for pictures and talk with them about what they like and dislikes and then use Google or another search engine to look for a suitable place for you to have a first date in the closest larger city in the area you’re going to.
Before you leave, I might suggest that you read some advice for your first date that I have written about before.
