What Is Speed Dating?

Previously, I have discussed both online dating and offline dating (or dating in real life, as I more commonly refer to). There is, however, the third way of dating which is speed dating that I haven’t discussed previously.

So first, I will define what it is, then discuss if it is possible to do online and lastly share some tips and ideas.

First of all: What is speed dating?

Speed dating is simply put when you date a lot of people in a short time frame at one location.

Honestly, I can’t tell you if this is for you or not. It is up to you to make that decision. There are benefits and there are downsides to this kind of dating, to be truthful.

I will discuss this in much more detail below and share some valuable tips with you later on in this article.

But for now, just let me say that since dating is a numbers game, speed dating can help you find someone to date faster and more efficiently than when you’re dating one person at a time.

The Possibility to Take Your Speed Dating Online

As you can conclude from the information above, speed dating is all about meeting many singles in one physical location.

One question I asked myself was: Can I do it online?

The answer to that particular question is: Yes! There is a real possibility that you can take speed dating online and it is achievable through video chat. This is the best way to speed dating online.

I do not like speed dating personally because I find it stressful.

You barely get to know someone and it’s hard to find out if there’s a “connection” between the two of you. Needless to say, this is my own personal experience and I only tried it once.
