Real Dating: Pickup Artists and Pickup Lines

This article will cover two related yet very diverse topics, namely pick-up artists and pick-up lines.

To clarify, neither of them has anything to do with pickups, but everything to do with attracting women and getting laid, quite frankly.

I will discuss what a pickup artist, sometimes referred to as PUA, is and what a pickup line is below.

You will also discover what I think about their techniques and whether I would recommend them to you or not, and what I would do if I were single today.

What Is A Pickup Artist?

A Pickup Artist is a person who tries to use a set of specific words to trigger the right emotions in a woman.

Even if this, in theory at least, will work, pick-up artists will teach you methods that will not work on most women unless she’s already into you.

Of course, they will claim that it does work since it’s their bread and butter after all.

I find that the methods most pick up artists uses don’t work because they are:

• Outdated. Women either know all of them, or the techinques triggers her BS-radar, which will make you fail.
• Offensive. Forget trying to get inside of her pants if you are rude, profane, or use words that offends her. Don’t be rude to others.
• Manipulative. You shouldn’t be using “sleasy old car salesman” techniques to get yourself a new girlfriend or a bang-buddy. There are different ways to do it, which will work better, that I will discuss below.

Why Won’t These Relationships Last?

These relationships will not work out because she will either call you out or be the wrong woman for you.

Surely, if you succeed with your “efforts” and “techniques,” it will feel amazing at that moment, but trust me, your “charm” will soon fade away, and your relationship with her will end faster than your first kiss did.

The main reason these relationships will not last is that it doesn’t create her right emotions.

If she doesn’t get the right environment, the right answer to her tests, her questions answered, and the right emotions for you, she will never sleep with you. Period.

One popular technique among PUAs is known as “cold reading.”

It is a statement that is general in nature. Still, it will be perceived as a question specifically asked to her, even if it’s not.

The other highly manipulative method they are using is referred to as “hot reading” and is used when they have gathered some information about her, either by asking her “cold” questions, or by asking her friends, or checking her out on social media, and can ask specific questions to her.

So, how can you do it?

You can start by asking her out on a date using one of these questions and then taking it from there.

What Is A Pickup Line?

A pick-up line is a sentence that you use to trigger the right emotions in another human being.

Specifically in a woman that you have a crush on or a romantic interest in already and that you want to get out on a date.

Pick-up lines can be specific, especially if you already know her a bit or general.

She will be more likely to accept going out on a date with you if you make her laugh or at least feel good about herself.

If you are on a dating site, you can use these messages, which are commonly referred to as “ice-breakers.”

On the other hand, if you are meeting her in real life, you might want to try out the best pick-up lines instead, which works better than the outdated techniques PUAs use (and teaching).

Which PUA Techniques Works?

If you wonder which technique works, the short answer is that none of them works, at least not in the long run.
