We start with the bad tips. Here are three very common tips that we list as bad ones:
1. Women should wear red.
It is not advisable for Christians to wear red. Even though red is the color of the blood, it is also the harlot’s color and will give the other one the wrong impression of you. That is the reason why this is a bad advice in Christian dating.
2. Have a parent with you to show that family matters to you.
Of course, you shouldn’t do that. If you are an adult, yes family should matter to you but it wouldn’t be recommended to have a parent with you. Especially a woman would think that she would marry the man’s mother instead of him. It would give her the wrong impression, so don’t do it.
3. You should have sex on the second date. The man experts it.
No, definitively not! You should avoid any sexual activity until you are married. A hug or kiss on the cheek can be acceptable when the woman allows you.
There is no given date number, in particular, that tells you when to do it. Social convention and when you feel that the women have given you her approval to give her a kiss on the cheek when to do it. The only men that want to have sex with women that fast are fornicators and they are not good Christians and every Christian should avoid them. This is what the apostle St. Paul himself writes in his Letters to the Romans (7).
Those were the three bad ones. Now we shift focus to the good ones.
Good tips
1. Wait for sex until you are married, it’s worth the wait.
Definitively YES!!!
It is always good to wait for that part of life and reserve it to your married life. It will be a great benefit for both of you.
2. Have a friend with you on a first date
Yes. This is a really good tip. You should do that or at least tell somebody where you are, who you will be on a date with and a photo of that person as well as a phone number to the place where you will be. That is why we recommend you to meet at a local Church.
3. Don’t follow a person home at the first date.
This is also a very good tip we found on most serious dating sites. Things might unfold in things that you wouldn’t like. For that reason, we recommend you to leave the place alone or with the friend that sat a few tables away.
