Yes, I do know that there are specialized dating sites for gays and lesbians.
However, the most common monthly searches in English on Google (10,000+) according to my own research is the phrase “women seeking men”.
The other phrase, “men seeking women” are also quite big (5000+) so together over 15,000 people are looking for love each month according to my own research.
Maybe you have entered one of the phrases, trying to look for beautiful women, single ladies or just want to try the concept of match dating.

I feel obligated to let you know that dating sites are now the normal place where singles meet and not in “real-life” or at workplaces any longer. I’ve asked myself “Why is this the case?”
I have myself come up with an explanation and I will not claim to have found the “correct” answer because I do not think that there is just one answer that will explain everything.

In the modern day, we sit more and more in front of our computers, smartphones or tablets, being social with friends all over the world and less social with the person sitting next to us.
I personally think that the places where singles can meet and find one another have been decreasing for the last 20 years.
Today, many employers allow their employees to work from home which is great for the employer but it contributes to the fact that more and more people stay single for a long time of their life.
The Internet is making more jobs than ever before but is also responsible for breaking the normal social interactions between individuals.
When you are dating you should remember that your social skills are very important.
Turning off your phone on a date might be the most important thing you’ll ever do!
It works both ways, neither you nor your date should chat with your friends when you’re on a date.
The worst thing I personally can experience is a beautiful woman talking with her friends when we are on a date.
If your phone is on, you are unconsciously telling your date that he or she is of less importance to you than your friends.
Even though I do know that she wants to show me that her girlfriends know where she is, I do not contact my friends when she is sitting next to me.
If I ever feel the need of talking with one of my friends, I excuse myself and go to the bathroom and call or text my friends.
This is the best thing to do because then it’s not becoming obvious to her that I do the same. It is also great advice that works for both genders.
How Dating Sites Will Help You
Online dating sites are a good way to initiate the “first contact” with someone, like if you’re a man like I am, a beautiful woman or if you are a woman, with a handsome man.
They are good because when you become a member you fill in a form with some standardized questions.
Then an algorithm will calculate and compare your answers with what other singles have answered the same questions and giving you suggestions on which profiles that match you best.
This is of course only true if you answer the questions on the form truthfully, which is always a piece of good advice.
The algorithm will just help you to narrow things down.
The profiles you will see are your best matches based on your answers.
It is still you that have to take action and contact them. This is something no one else will be able to do for you.
