This part of the article is written for men seeking women to love.

The statement “men are from Mars and women are from Venus” is obviously false.

Why is it false?

Because we are all from the same planet called Earth and we are all created by the same God (Genesis 1-3).

Even if the statement by itself is wrong, it carries some significance since men and women want different things in relationships which I have written about before on this blog.

Both genders want intimacy but it is different kinds of intimacy that we want and that is something every man as well as woman need to understand in order to get the relationship you want and desire.

Men want more physical intimacy while women want an emotional, mental, and psychological intimacy.

However, both men and women want an intellectual intimacy quite often.

Humour, common values and your faith are other things that matter to Christian singles as well.

In this article, I share an overview of other aspects that matter to single men and women who are looking for a solid and healthy relationship.

Women Seeking Men

This part is exclusively written for women seeking men.

Women want intimacy and they are always looking for a man that can “speak to my heart”.

What exactly does this mean?

It’s quite hard to define for us men and women like the fact that men need to guess but I have looked into it and that is how I came up with the idea for the HIT-formula, i.e. humour, intrigue and tease.

Each woman has her unique preference and her taste when it comes to men and humour shifts between individuals, just as much as men do.

So is it possible to get a woman feel that you can speak to her heart?

Yes, there is and as always, we can find the answer in the Bible.

If we would try to divide the Bible in male and female books, Song of Songs would be classified as a more male book since it discusses the relationship between humans on a literal level while it also allegorically speaks about God and Christ’s love for His bride, the church in general or Christians in particular.

In the same way, Lamentations and Psalms would be classified as books in the Bible that speak of female intimacy.

I do not mean that women are lamenting or complaining about things always and for no reason what so ever but women want a different kind of poetry than men do.

We also need to understand that from early childhood girls/women are identifying themselves in relationship to others while boys/men are identifying themselves in competition with others.

This is something human sciences has revealed and later confirmed in further studies of the human behaviour.

The Bible also tells us that Eve is created from Adam’s rib but to be his helper since nothing else in creation could be helpful to him or in other words: “Be his #1 fan” as April D. Long wrote in one of her blog posts.

Can we use this when we are dating men and woman alike?

Absolutely, since we now know how we differ from one another in a gender specific way.

Men and women expect different kinds of intimacy in relationships and I have listed three of the most important aspects of each gender below in the section referred to as relationship advice.

Relationship Tips for Men and Women

Lastly, I will share my best relationship tips for men and women, sharing what you can do to get the relationship you dream of and desire.

All it really takes are three simple steps…

Men should:

• Behave decently at all time. No nude pictures and no explicit language. Just keep it nice and genuine.
• Don’t hit on her, use HIT on her, both in text and in real life.
• Know what women want and how it differs from what men want in a relationship.

So now, you lads should know what women really want, right?

Women should:

• Know what men want and how it differs from what women want in a relationship.
• Support the guy and encourage him to take action. Even when he dates and courts you.
• Tell men what you want so the man you’re dating don’t have to guess. This will take away a lot of frustration from the both of you.
