Sometimes we are shy and especially men, when we see a beautiful girl or woman.

It is natural, and we need to overcome our natural shyness if we want to ask her out on a date. A woman will feel it intuitively when a man is insecure and reject him bluntly.

There are many reasons why a man might feel insecure when approaching an attractive woman, such as:

  • Previous experiences of rejection
  • Getting nervous in front of a woman
  • Suffering from a social anxiety disorder

What Causes Social Anxiety?

Social anxiety disorder, or SAD for short, is caused by a fear of interacting with other human beings in social situations.

The mere thought cause people who suffer from this disorder to feel nauseated, start to blush, sweating excessively, and some will even have panic attacks when they are forced to be in these situations, to mention a few of the symptoms.

I write to people because both men and women suffer from SAD.

Can NLP Solve Shyness and Social Anxiety?

I know that some men have found the neuro-linguistic pattern, or NLP for short,  to treat their shyness, while other men have found that this has little or no effect on them.

I strongly advise you to seek professional treatment for social anxiety, an actual disease.

Shyness is not a disease, just an intense form of awkwardness.

Let me clarify: Shyness around women is not a disease; it’s pretty natural.

Shyness can be treated by self-medication or by professionals.

However, before you go out and seek professional advice for your shyness, you should read what I’m about to inform you about now.

If you suffer from shyness when you are approaching beautiful women, I suggest that you do the following:

  • Start every morning by looking at yourself in your bathroom mirror and saying: I look incredibly handsome today. I will make something good happen today. I am awesome. Let’s do this!
  • Make sure you give yourself credit when you are doing something good. It might be that you handled a situation particularly well or made someone feel good about themselves. Make sure you give yourself “mental” pats on your shoulder daily.

The Best Treatment for Social Anxiety

The best treatment for a social anxiety disorder is a professional treatment called cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).

Since I’m not a trained professional in this field, I advise you to seek professional guidance if you suffer from SAD and want treatment.
