So, without further ado, let’s dive into the content where I will share how to find love on social media with you.
You might be wondering what social media is.
The answer is that you have probably heard about these networks:
- SnapChat
- YouTube
I need to put in a little disclaimer here: This article is neither sponsored nor endorsed by any of the social media networks mentioned above.

What to Do to Find Love on Social Media
Here are a few tips for you which are basically some best practices to engage in a conversation on any social media.
They are based solely on my own experience, so they are somewhat biased.
First and foremost, remember why these platforms are commonly referred to as “social media”.
They are meant to be social and that is their primary function.
Even though it is perfectly fine to look for love on social media, this is neither the primary nor the intended function of these platforms.
The reason why I am emphasizing the word social here is that some people, especially certain men, almost forget about it and start to approach women on social media in ways they most likely never would do in real life.
Maybe they would, but I honestly don’t think so.
What I mean, to clarify is that some men, as soon as a woman posts something on her wall, flow, or in a group, will start to send her messages.
Messages like “I love you”, “How are you today, honey?” and so on.
I understand why they do it though since they are the products from the geniuses of male dumbasses who refer to themselves as “pick up artists” or PUA for short.
Recently, I watched an ad on YouTube where a guy uses what he claims is the number one pick up line for women, and I actually agree with him.
I can tell you that I did use it to get my current girlfriend myself.
If you want to know more about it, I will cover it in a future article on my blog which is planned for next week, so stay tuned!
In the meantime, you might want to read another article that discusses this.

If you don’t have time to read that entire article right now, I have boiled it down to 5 easy-to-follow steps for you here:
- Be friendly and DON’T USE picks up lines immediately.
- Be social and don’t ask too many questions or you will be perceived as pushy.
- Don’t focus only on matters of the heart; discuss other things as well.
- Be a bit cautious and don’t share many details about yourself and your life right from the get-go
- Abstain from cursing, the use of racist, or degrading language. It will only make people reject you and will put you in a bad mode and place.
If you’re a man, you might think that you have to “tell” her what you want in order to get it.
This is the wrong approach to dating and relationship with human beings!
What You Never Should Do on Social Media
As you probably have noticed, this article has slowly shifted focus to the things you never should do on social media now.
Another thing you should never do is to use social media to scam people.
Click here to read about how scammers operate on social media.
Scammers are active on both social media and on dating sites.
So, no matter where you are dating, you need to be aware of this sad fact, however, I do need to emphasize that just because someone behaves badly, he or she isn’t a scammer.
My third tip for you is to always, and I do mean always, avoid the wrong approach to women (or men) on any social media platform.
Click here to read what you should never do on social media.
Another thing you never should do is on social media is to use a fake picture of yourself.
This includes:
- Using photos of celebrities
- Using photos you find on stock image websites
- Using photos that you basically steal from other people’s or businesses websites
- Using old photos of yourself or someone you were in a previous relationship with, especially not old boy- or girlfriends
- Using photos of yourself or an old boy- or girlfriend in comprising situations
Let’s remember that if you want to use your social media presence to find love, you do not want to misrepresent yourself, right?
As I have emphasized a lot in the past:
You want the person to fall in love with the true version of yourself and not a fake version of yourself.
My tip for you is: Avoid these shady practices at all costs.
I know that most of you who are reading this article won’t behave in such a matter but for those who will, I only have one message: You will be detected and kicked out eventually.
This all comes down to one basic fact:
Just like free online dating sites, social media is free to use as well which unfortunately attracts a lot of scammers.

These are some of the things you should never do on social media, no matter how tempting or promising they may sound to you.
As with anything, I recommend you to use social media cautiously.
Don’t get me wrong: I spend a lot of time on different social media platforms each day to hang out with my friends and also get some eyeballs to this particular blog as well and I love it.
Just make sure that you enjoy the time you spend on it.
It really doesn’t matter which platform you use, all that matters is that you enjoy it and remember that not everyone is who they claim to be.
If you are aware of that, you will be a lot safer online!
