Introduction
In this blog post, I will reveal a big secret that I didn’t intend to, and that is 3 things you can do to impress your date. These things are not specific to either gender, so they work for both men and women.
There is one thing I would like to add that I think is beneficial to everyone, and that is the importance of having a clean home, especially if you are inviting someone over to your home for the very first time.
I have put a lot of time and effort into reflecting on things I have personally done for women I have dated in the past, so it is still a bit male-oriented. You have to excuse me :).
Now, I will reveal them, and you can find them right here…

3 Things You Can Do To Impress Your Date
1. Cook for your date
I only recommend this after you have gone out on a couple of dates with the same person. For clarity, let’s say the third date will be at your place, since I think the first and second dates should be in public places like restaurants or cafés.
There are many good cookbooks out there, and some are even available online (also on this blog), so don’t worry if you don’t feel comfortable in the kitchen; there are even entire websites dedicated to helping newbies like you make fantastic dishes with just a few basic ingredients.
You might want to get inspired by my 11 Date Night Recipes for Two for Valentine’s Day or by the other date-night ideas I have shared on this blog.
Don’t worry if you don’t measure it exactly; chefs don’t use exact measurements. I mean, have you ever seen Jamie Oliver or any of the Top Chef competitors use measurements when they cook on TV?
I know I haven’t seen them. A little friendly advice: go easy on the salt and on hot spices like chili, since two people might not share the same appreciation for spicy dishes. It all comes down to your personal taste, and if you don’t know someone, it is not good.
Too much salt in the food can actually be lethal in the long run. Salt is sometimes called the “silent killer” because it doesn’t kill its victims instantly, but it also adds flavor to food.
I have personally found these cookbooks to be valuable, and I’ve downloaded them to my iPad, and they have given me so many new recipes to choose from.
I used some of the recipes from my article 17 Easy Date Night Ideas That Bring You Closer to impress some of my friends on a Saturday, and they were truly amazed by my cooking skills, even though they knew I could cook.
Now, I should write that I actually like to cook and am not a beginner in the kitchen (although sometimes I have to admit that I might feel that way too when I try some advanced cooking).

2. Bake for your date
Maybe you are not so good in the kitchen; maybe baking is your thing. If that’s the case, you can bake an awesome cake, or why not a yummy cheesecake?
Baking is harder to learn if you don’t already master it, because you have to follow the recipe exactly, and if the recipe says 1 decilitre, you can’t double it without doubling the rest of the ingredients as well. Since I assume you are an adult, I also assume you can follow instructions.
If your date has diabetes or allergies, you might need to ask what works and what doesn’t first and consider exchanging some ingredients. For the sake of this post, let’s assume your date doesn’t have any health conditions, intolerances, or allergies.
You have to have baked for quite some time if you need to exchange some ingredients.

3. Give your date a present just for being in your life
A nice romantic gesture like giving your date a flower or a box of chocolate on an anniversary day is always appreciated, but don’t forget to do it sometimes when he or she doesn’t expect it, but you can actually show appreciation for the other person, and it doesn’t even have to cost you any money.
Why don’t you surprise your date with a romantic massage or pay for him or her to get it at a massage parlor by a professional (although less romantic), or do something you know your date really likes to strengthen the relationship between the two of you?

Here Is A Special Dating Advice
As you have read above and probably figured out, I am giving you, if not the most powerful dating advice there is, at least it’s one of the most powerful pieces of dating advice that you may find, and I am doing it completely free.
Surprise your date from time to time to keep him or her curious about you and not feeling like you are behaving very predictable.
This is a great way of renewing a relationship that has become “fixed in predictable patterns”. It is also nice if the surprise breaks the ordinary pattern and if you show the other person some appreciation.
When asked why you have done it, it’s always a good idea to say, “Because I want you to feel appreciated” or simply “just because you are you”.

I should also write that if you buy the products from the links provided within this article, I will get a small compensation. It will probably only cover one cup of coffee, but that is something I really appreciate, and it helps me write the articles you can read for free.
You have now reached the end of this article, and I really want to apologize for taking up so much of your time, but I also wanted to share all this great information. I hope you appreciate it.
