Special Post: Christian Dating

We are a professional review company that receives compensation from companies whose products we review. We test each product thoroughly and give high marks only to the ones that are the very best. We are independently owned, and the opinions expressed here are our own.

In this special blog post, I will write about Christian dating. This is after all, what xpdating.com is all about so I thought I like to share my thoughts about what is the same as well as differs from the dating types.

Before I begin defining what Christian dating is and what it isn’t I just want to make one thing very clear to you: Christianity is the religion, which church or creed you confess to is your faith according to me.

What Christian Dating Is

This is what Christian Dating Is All About

Christian dating has many things in common with other kinds of dating. For this reason, many of my former blog posts have been greatly appreciated by other dating sites as well.

I think this were one of the reasons why Singles Warehouse wanted me to write a post for them which I enjoyed greatly. You can find that guest blog post on their website.

I am always trying, to be honest, and use some humour or my own experience (yes, I’m dating myself) and sometimes a combination of the three of them.

Christian dating is about meeting someone that shares the most important thing in life to you: Your Christian faith.

Sure, you can go to your local church but maybe there are only married couples. If you are one of the few singles or you already have dated someone there and it hasn’t worked out for you then you could try it yourself.

What Christian Dating Is Not

Kissing Is Fine, In Christian Dating

Christian dating is not just about having someone to spend the night with. It is more about building a relationship with another person that have a similar relationship to God and Jesus as you do.

Christian dating is not about being passive and only pray to God. God demands us to take action too! He does not want you to be alone but to find someone to share your love and life with so that you can honour Him together!

It is not just about sharing your faith, it’s about building a firm and solid relationship around it. You should be faithful to that person and yes, you should also marry that person.

Let’s face it: This is what all societies, no matter if you as a Christian lives in a society where Christianity is the religion of the majority or a minority, want you to do: Marriage is the ultimate goal for your relationship!

Let your marriage be a reflection of your love for each other as well as the love God showed the World when He sent His only Son to bled and die for us on the cross of Calvary. We are all poor sinners but will gain eternal life by the grace of God if we believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God that were risen from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures.
