A Year Will Soon End But First, Let’s Recap 2017…
Since this is the last article published in 2017, I thought it would be a great idea to summarize the entire year.
I will not discuss the reviews I have published but rather the articles.
For convenience purposes, I have decided to put the first six months in the first section and the last six months of 2017 in the other part.
If you wish to read a summary of my reviews during this year, I will publish a post about it tomorrow. Let’s recap the year of 2017 on this blog…
What Happened in The First Six Monts of 2017?
January
The year began with the Series ”Real Dating” and the article ”The Promise of the New Year”. This series also included articles such as ”The most common misconception about online dating”, ”Where to go from here” and ”Real Dating: A Summary”.
I also discussed if there are certain ”rules” in dating that only applies to women in the article ”Dating rules for Women” and men’s dating rules, especially concerning online behavior was discussed in the article ”Online dating for guys”
There were also general dating tips that I shared during this month, especially with articles like ”Love and romance”, ”When is the right time for online dating to go offline”, ”What to do in the beginning of a relationship”.
An exception was the article ”The new look of the website” that discussed the design changes that were conducted on ChristianDatingInternational.com.
February
It is always stressful in the beginning of this month since Valentine’s day is a day that I want to discuss since it is often viewed as the most romantic day of the year by singles around the world.
In 2016, I wrote a complete ”How to get a date for Valentine’s day”- series but I didn’t do it in 2017 and 2018 will not be a lot different in comparison. I will not run a complete series next year either. I am not willing to give away more right now.
I wrote about Christian dating and relationships in the article ”Christian relationships”. I also discussed the need for counseling in the article ”Are you looking for online relationship counseling?”
There was also an article published about finding love online ”How to find love online” and two articles about relationships and dating ”Enjoy your dating life” and ”Another key to successful relationships”.
The month ended with an outlook on what would happen during the spring of 2017.
March
The month began with ”Should Christians date?” which we, of course, should do and then continued with ”Spring is an awesome time to be single”.
Then I did something that I had longed for since the day I became the head blogger of this blog and immersed myself and my readers in Christian dating even further with the articles ”Christian dating profiles vs online dating profiles”, ”What’s happening to Christian Dating International?”, and ”Christian Pickup Lines”.
I then welcomed my readers to the new group on Facebook, ”Join the Facebook group” and then discussed ”The only mind-game that will truly work on any man” before I discussed ”How men can get a date tonight” and finally ”The needy girlfriend”.
I am planning to write about the needy boyfriend as well in the near future.
April
April started with the article ”Why men pull away” to help women understand why some men do this in a relationship and then I discussed ”how to approach women online” to help men initiate a ”first contact” with women on any dating website.
Due to a tragic event, presumably a terrorist attack in Stockholm, Sweden there was a special article written and updated. I also tweeted live about it and were listening to Swedish public service company, SVT as the events unfolded.
Unfortunately, I got a thing wrong which somebody told me on Twitter and I corrected myself as soon as SVT has denounced the information they first discussed.
Fortunately, I was in Sweden but a long way from Stockholm so I could still tweet about it. I had to rely on secondary sources for information and of course, I only chose mainstream media.
I also got some disturbing footage in my Twitter-flow but didn’t choose to publish it by retweeting it, which was in compliance with what the local Swedish authorities and agencies have told the citizens not to share pictures of dead or molested people on social media.
Normally, I don’t let any government influence what I write on the blog or share on social media.
However, it just felt like the right thing to do and has led to a policy that I will never share pictures of wounded, dead or molested people whenever these things occur.
You can read the whole article, if you wish to recap what actually happened that dreadful day on the 8th of April 2017 in the article ”Special Post: The Stockholm Incident”.
The person arrested will face charges of terrorism in 2018.
Another article was published that day as well, ”Free dating advice for men” that shares some strategies men can use on first dates or when they’re dating a woman.
I also discussed ”International dating” and ”How to get a Thai girlfriend”, two of the articles which are read at least once or twice each week since they first were published.
Then there were some general dating tips given in the article ”Tips on dating” and ”How to get a girlfriend”. I also discussed some of the services I can provide for you as a dating coach in the article ”Dating Advice Coach”.
May
My first article in May was “How to Find Love Online: Christian Dating International” which is about the dating website “Christian Dating International”. More articles about this website will be published in the future.
The article “Writing a compelling icebreaker” is also about the same website and how to send the special emails known as “icebreakers” to “Break the ice” between you and a profile you just encountered and wish to contact.
“The best way to contact singles online” is similar to this article too.
I then discussed one of my personal favorites: First dates in the article “First date secrets: Best practices” I share some of my own wisdom directly with all readers of this blog, especially men will find this article interesting.
The latter part of May 2017 was dedicated to dating in the broadest terms and discussed various topics about all things dating like “Date Night Ideas”, “7 Questions for the Second Date”, “The Third Date”, “The Secret Most Men Do Not Know” and “Secret Weapon: Escape the Friend Zone. Escalate Romance.”
June
June started with the article “Get the guy” and then I discussed “Commitment issues”, something that bothers both men and women who are in any kind of romantic relationship with one another.
I then discussed the law of attraction and dating in the article “The Law of Attraction for Men and Women” before I discussed the concept of texting as well as an attraction in another perspective for the remainder of June.
The articles about attraction are: “How to Become a Better Man”, “How to Become an Attractive Man” and “5 Steps to Boost Your Confidence”.
My texting articles include: “How to text a girl and ask her out on a date” and “7 Best Texts to Send a Girl You Like”.
What Happened in The Last Six Months of 2017?
July
In July, we were happy to start with 5 guest blog articles on the first day of that month by April D. Long. She returned with more articles at the end of the year as well and will write some more articles and will be joined by other guest bloggers in 2018.
However, since I haven’t written them, I won’t link to them either. April has promised that she will try to publish one article where she summarizes them herself when she can find some time to do it, in her life.
The remainder of the articles can be divided into two main sections: What attracts/Doesn’t attract the opposite sex and online dating.
An exception from this is the article: Fruits of the Spirit that discuss the 7 fruits of the spirit and dating.
However, 5 of the articles that were publicized this month was about rejection/attraction: “Fear of rejection“, “How does self-esteem matter on first dates“, “Being a confident woman“, “No confidence with girls” and “Attraction formula“.
As you probably notice, attraction and rejection were the two main topics discussed in the summer of 2017 with a few exceptions though like the article “Dating rules for women texting”.
The online dating articles were: “Conversation starters“, “Text chat dating“, “Does online dating work?” and “The KISS-method in online dating“.
I also wrote about my personal topic first dates in the article: “Where to go on a first date“.
An article that is highly popular that was written in July 2017 is “Relationship Advice: What you want and how to get it.”
August
In August, I discussed “Dating Thai women“, “The body language of men“, “How to get the girl“, “What attracts a man to a woman“, “Online love stories“, “Female dating profile examples” and “Make him yours“.
September
This month started with the article “What attracts women?” which is full of useful dating tips for men (the version for females were published in August, as you might recall).
I also discussed how men should ask women out and published examples of funny pick up lines as well. Being shy can be a problem in dating and this is something I addressed in the article: “How to Stop Being Shy”.
I then turned my attention to first dates again with the articles “Will the attraction formula work on first dates?”, “Good First Date Ideas” and “First Date Behavior: What Will Grant Me a Second Date?”.
The month concluded with the article “What is the queen of questions?”.
As you probably have noticed most of my articles were actually written as questions that I then answered in the articles.
October
April D. Long had the first article but my first article in October was published on the 7th and discussed stress. I then continued by discussing “How to get her number” which shares some insights about how men should behave to get a cute girl’s number.
The “5 Most Important Things in Dating” is one of the best dating tips I have ever published on the blog.
I then began a small 5-part series about different perspectives in dating: “How Intelligence Matters in Dating”, “How Dignity Matters in Dating”, “How to Be Yourself in Dating”, “How Integrity Matters in Dating” and finally “The Importance of Shared Values in Dating”.
Then October was all finished and November started just as October did.
November
With 2 articles by April D. Long, November started.
My first article this month was “Internet Dating for Christians” and then I shared my personal story in the article “From Dating Disaster to Dating Success”.
I also turned my attention to one side of dating that I never discussed before: Speed Dating.
There was a continuation of the fear of rejection that I discussed earlier in 2017 in the article “The biggest mistake guys do before dating” and “What every woman wished she knew about men”.
The perspective is slightly different from the articles published in the past since this is about avoiding mistakes before they happen.
“3 ways to make a relationship last for life” is one of the few general long-term relationship tips you find on the blog. Most of the tips can be used for both dating and relationships.
One of the most hands-on tips ever published on this blog is: “Tell Her You Love Her”.
It is written for men who want to tell the girl they are dating that they have fallen in love with her.
December
A hands-on tip for women was the first article published in December 2017: “How Can I Make Him Love Me?”
I also discussed how infatuation can help women attract men and that connection is absolutely pivotal in dating as well as how relationships shape us as individuals.
Just before Christmas, I discussed “Why girls test guys” and on Christmas Eve I discussed some hidden biblical evidence that are predictions about the birth of Jesus.
Since December is the holiday season, I discussed the seasonal stress too.
This concludes the final article of 2017.
Next article
My next article will be published on the 31st of December 2017.
It will summarize the reviews in 2017.
Hope you read tomorrow´s article too,
Rickard
